Welcome to the newest and latest version of my website for 2009. I’d like to take a moment and thank my talented and creative brother Andrew who as site admin has revamped this website and given a fresh look and feel to neillmacleod.com. We will be working throughout the next few months to bring in new features, update and improve existing ones and integrate more user interaction on the site. There are some great features available now so please take the time and give things a look, explore and as always if you have any feedback we are always welcoming those through the contact page. 

Check out the Music page for the 2 latest CD’s: Afterhour Delight is a sexy ride for those late night beats and the latest edition to my “Soul Series” is the new Chuggin Tribal for my take on the many flavours and rage of tribal house music. Keep checking in as there’s yet another CD ready and will be posted this week sometime. If you haven’t subscribed to the Podcast feature on the ‘Music’ page, then try it out and you’ll be one of the first to have the latest CD’s downloaded to your iTunes library the moment they are live on this site.

Hi everyone,
Just to let you all know that I’ve finally checked the site’s ever evolving new design in IE7… and it looks and works 99.99% the way it does in Safari and Firefox! Sweet! And I didn’t have to code a single IE7 CSS hack.

One other thing for you all to remember as I continually tweak the design and layout—please make sure to refresh one of the pages you are visiting now again using Control+R (Windows) or CMD+R(Mac). This will make sure your browser is loading all recent changes.

Stay tuned for more changes as I’ll be continuing to add more content, downloads, events, and images!

Just a quick update to let you know the site is currently undergoing a major transformation. And as you might expect there might be some bugs that pop-up here and there or new functionality might appear briefly then suddenly disappear. The design of the site will also be changing and evolving minute by minute, so don’t be alarmed if you see something funky here and there!

Testing the site on various browsers has still yet to be done, so if you’re using Safari or Firefox, you should be ok. I’ll tackle IE7+8 ASAP. Don’t expect IE6 to look nice, because it’s not supported—please update your browser if you are using IE6 :)

There are lots of new changes in store, so thanks for your patience. Any feedback appreciated!

Beef Dip 2009 was a BLAST this year and our most exciting yet. We had the most attendance to date and a wicked group of guys to celebrate an amazing week in the sun - book your tickets for next year guys it’s a must!!!

Some of my ‘technical’ issues are now fixed and straightened out by a good friend (and savior) Michael (DFM) - thanks bud you saved me!!!

Next week I’ll be posting my 2 newest CD’s - if you haven’t subscribed to the podcast on the Music Page (CD’s also available at the iTunes store for free download) make sure you do that now and be one of the first to have these CD’s downloaded immediately to your iTunes library.

Look out for the upcoming newsletters, facebook blasts and updates on this website. You’ll notice new and exciting changes in the next couple of weeks and months including a new CD next month (yes even more!), Bio, Events page, Music page, Top 10 will be transformed to something new and exciting for production and remixes and of course photos for the Gallery page.

This weekend is a popular leather event in Toronto and Saturday’s Fantasy Ball 2009 will be busy and hot!!! The party starts at 10pm and goes until 5am. Free shuttle busses run 11pm to 4am leaving from Church & Alexander St. See you there!!!

Summer is finally here and I am so excited for this coming month.  June is especially busy this year so check out the Events page to see what’s coming this month.  I just returned from Chicago for IML where I had an amazing time and so much fun.  I met so many great guys from all over the globe and learned a lot about the Leather world.  Thanks to those Nasty Pig boys who made the weekend that much better.

Keep tuning in as there are a couple of CD’s in the works - of course there’s always the Beef Ball CD that comes out each summer just before Pride and I also have a couple of other goodies to introduce some sexy funky tech sounds to get you in the mood.

Lots of new updates coming your way - the site is getting another revamp, the newsletter is on its way out, new CD’s, new photos and new features.  Don’t forget to check out the Official DJ Neill MacLeod Group on Facebook - sign up, invite a friend and keep up to date with the latest.

Looks like summer is on the way!  Celebrate the good weather this weekend and come out and shake it on the dance floor.  Friday night I’ll be joining a killer line-up of Toronto’s All-star DJ’s for Bitchslap! at Fly nightclub for one crazy party!!!  The vibe is so awesome for this party I can’t wait to get there.  I’ll be on the decks for an intense and high-energy set from midnight to 1am.  You won’t want to miss a beat!!!

That’s not all folks - on Saturday night I’ll be heading down to the Sound Academy to hear Colton Ford perform some new tracks, play head-to-head with Deko-ze on 6 decks and then close the night with all the guys at the Bad Boys Ball from 10pm to 6am.  This event has a harder edge, dirty-minded, playful vibe and will definitely bring out the bad in anyone.  There’s shuttle busses to take you there and back so head on down.

Well the week is underway, the weather is looking up and there’s a long weekend ahead.  For once - I have the weekend off (wow) so you’ll probably see me out on a dance floor somewhere so keep a look-out and come say hi.

A quick heads up to Fashion Week this week.  I’ll be spinning live for the ‘Ford Models Fashion Grindhouse’ featuring collections from Farely Chatto and Sarah Nicol, so if you’re out at Nathan Phillips Square this Thursday around 2pm keep your ears open for the beats.  This is an invitation only event so I’ll have to tell you about it in the next update ;)

Wow what a great month just passed by (except the record-breaking snow lol) with so many great nights of music and fun.  As usual the Barn has been awesome on Saturday nights, my first night at Fuzion was intimate, chill and a great vibe and the Fantasy Ball 2008 was an amazing success with so much energy.  Thank you to everyone who came out to these events during this cold month that just passed and for all your positive feedback, emails and infectious energy on the dance floor.

Well I’m back from Mexico - what a blast!!!  It wasn’t hard to leave here last week to travel to the hot sun and sandy beaches but what a task to come back to the cold February snow.  I had an amazing time at Beef Dip 2008 which was another success in its 5th year and going strong.  Thanks to all those who came down south to party up the week and for those who danced until 6am at Club Manana for the closing party.  We’ll be posting some pictures in the gallery soon.

Don’t forget I’ll be starting a new residency at Fuzion this Friday from 10:30pm until 2:30am on the 2nd floor - it’s a beautiful space.  I’ll be serving up some fun sexy beats so come on out and enjoy some tasty drinks.

And of course this Saturday at the Opera House I’ll be spinning all night for Spearhead’s annual charity Fantasy Ball 2008 from 10-5am.  Get out your hot leather gear or whatever your fantasy is and join me for a night of sexy, playful, energetic beats and vocals.  Shuttle busses start at 9:30pm and go til 4:30 in the morning.
